The FunctionalFoodNet (FFNet) project was established to (1) be an information source on functional foods for food companies and especially for SMEs. and (2) to network companies and help them explore business opportunities in functional foods. The FFNet website is an Information Centre on functional foods for companies and contains many outputs from functional foods research funded by the EU Commission and elsewhere. Over 185 companies are participating in FFNet—see companies page. Read-on by clicking on the various pages above---. The FFNet project CONCLUDED in spring 2008 but the website is still active and is supported by the UCD Institute of Food and Health in Dublin--see www.ucd.ie/foodandhealth and also the 'key contacts' page above.
